This role is responsible for managing day-to-day labor relations activities, maintaining constructive relationships with union leadership, and ensuring positive employee relations aligned with business objectives, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The position plays a critical role in fostering a collaborative labor-management partnership while protecting the company’s operational and contractual interests.

As a Chemist, Innovation & Science – Laboratory in Narrows, Virginia, you will be responsible for developing and executing testing methodologies that generate accurate, timely data to solve complex analytical challenges where standard methods are not always available. The person in this role should be able to use and perform advanced troubleshooting and operational expertise across a broad range of laboratory instrumentation, including GC, GC‑MS, HPLC, IC, and SEM‑EDS, while supporting innovation, R&D, and manufacturing needs. You also will assist and supervise analysts following safe laboratory practices.
