The Labor Relations Manager serves as the primary company representative for all labor relations matters at a highly regulated chemical manufacturing site with approximately 600 employees, which includes approximately 450 union-represented employees across two distinct labor unions. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day labor relations activities, maintaining constructive relationships with union leadership, and ensuring positive employee relations aligned with business objectives, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The position plays a critical role in fostering a collaborative labor-management partnership while protecting the company’s operational and contractual interests.
The Maintenance Team Leader is responsible for leading multi‑craft maintenance teams to ensure safe, high‑quality, and reliable execution of maintenance work while supporting production and long‑term asset health. This role fosters a zero‑incident safety culture, ensures work is completed right the first time, and balances daily execution with strategic maintenance planning. The Team Leader provides technical expertise above the craft level, oversees schedule compliance, and partners closely with planning, operations, and reliability teams. As a Chemist, Innovation & Science – Laboratory in Narrows, Virginia, you will be responsible for developing and executing testing methodologies that generate accurate, timely data to solve complex analytical challenges where standard methods are not always available. The person in this role should be able to use and perform advanced troubleshooting and operational expertise across a broad range of laboratory instrumentation, including GC, GC‑MS, HPLC, IC, and SEM‑EDS, while supporting innovation, R&D, and manufacturing needs. You also will assist and supervise analysts following safe laboratory practices.
