    • Conduct routine rounds and proactively report, mitigate and solve emerging issues.
    • Monitor production process (e.g. DCS, gauges …)
    • Investigate and troubleshoot abnormal operations.
    • Operate field equipment (e.g. extruders, valves, forklifts) to perform operations tasks per SOP, SOC, special instructions (e.g. filter changes, bagging, manual activities, additions …)
    • Collect and process samples for analysis.
    • Address alarms, communicates needs for bypasses, issues safe work permits.
    • Perform work in accordance to Conduct of operations for proper hand-offs with other workgroups.
    • Conduct Behavior Based Observations (BBO) and communicate HazRecs and near Miss Incidents.
    • LOTO equipment and turn over to maintenance for repairs and participate in return to service of equipment.
    • Start up and shutdown of process equipment in a safe manner.


    • Ability to participate in and maintain a team-oriented work environment for the safe operations and maintenance of the unit.
    • Strong work ethic.
    • Mechanical and technical aptitude.
    • Desire to excel and achieve results.
    • Basic computer skills.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Able to work 12 hour rotating shifts, with overtime.  
    • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills

    • Work experience in a manufacturing or plant environment
    • Automobile and/or equipment repair
