    Purpose and Summary of position:

    • This position will be responsible for improving and sustaining equipment and process reliability, while supporting site & corporate goals/requirements for Process Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Cost
    • Define proactive maintenance strategies (preventive, predictive, failure finding) to improve reliability
    • Perform root cause analysis on failures, develop corrective actions and track results
    • Recommend equipment changes to improve reliability, providing justification & utilizing Management of Change process
    • Develop strategies to address and sustain reliable process
    • Train process experts and core maintenance experts on equipment and process reliability


    Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    • Hands-on experience with improving reliability
    • Intermediate capabilities with Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Prioritization and organizational skills
    • Experience with the implementation of proactive maintenance strategies

    Desirable Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    • Experience with the Reliability Centered Maintenance process
    • Use of a Root Cause Analysis methodology
    • Experience with SAP, or other CMMS, with ability to mine data for reliability analysis
    • Candidate must have good technical writing and presentation skills
    • Previous experience in industrial (chemical) manufacturing reliability

    Required Years’ Experience:

    • 3 years

    Required Education:

    • Bachelor of science in engineering field strongly preferred
    • Minimal two year technical degree in engineering technology or industrial maintenance technology
