    • Define and execute the sales territory/account plans, derived from the various product line strategies, and realize the yearly account and territory objectives for sales growth and profitability.
    • Execute negotiations about pricing, delivery etc. within the boundaries set by Sales and Product Management, and responsible for quotations handling, credit limits and preparing standard and special contracts.
    • Responsible for defining, developing and commercializing new projects (customers/applications) within the scope of the account plans and product line strategies.
    • Responsible for the management, negotiation, alignment and execution of key commercial agreements/contracts.
    • Responsible for leveraging and coordinating FDE efforts for his/her projects, as well as coordinate all internal activities concerning the account to ensure a consistent account approach in sales, technical and development.
    • Document and update all key customer activities, contacts and opportunities in SalesForce within a timely manner.


    • Strong internal and external communication skills are required, both in written and verbal communication.
    • An overall solid business acumen needed to address the complex selling environment of the CE Acetyl Chain that are part of this territory.
    • Strong negotiations skills are needed, along with the ability to forge effective working relationships at all levels of an organization, both internally and externally.
    • 70% travel required. Open to relocation.
    • Has experience in managing sales and development activities at medium to large complex accounts. (sales know how, knowledge of sales processes(Strategic selling, Large account management, science of selling), negotiation skills, etc.)
    • Market development or technical service function in specialty chemicals, adhesives, paints and coatings segments.
    • A proven closer - someone with a track record of sales and application development success.
    • Has a bias toward action, is a doer as well as a thinker.

    Required Years of Experience

    • 3-5 Years of Outside Sales Territory Management

    Required Education

    • Bachelor’s Degree
