    • Own the demand segment of the S&OP process for Acetyl Chain (AC) in Americas.
    • Develop the demand plan at customer account level through collaboration with Account Managers, Sales Leaders, Product Managers & Commercial Leaders as part of the SOP/IBR cadence.
    • Collaborate with Sales on improvements of forecast accuracy.
    • Close alignment with Supply Planning and Scheduling to validate forecast restrictions and adjustments according to capacity.
    • Close collaboration with Product Management on strategic imperatives for the product portfolio.
    • Create consensus between Sales, Product Management and leadership functions on final demand roll-up.
    • Incorporate future pipeline projects into forecasting in close cooperation with EP pipeline leader.
    • Responsible for the forecast roll-up for Emulsion Polymers (EP) and Intermediate Chemistry OMSD (OMSD), including development of regional demand plans as part of monthly S&OP process.
    • Own forecast and demand planning processes & is responsible for development, optimization, maintenance and operation: ownership, face challenges.
    • Manage, analyze and maintain SAP, model and history data sets for optimized S&OP results.
    • Improve demand plan accuracy (e.g. utilizes statistical forecasting) to reduce unplanned changes to the short-term production plan and to reduce slow moving/aging inventory.
    • Align demand with business objectives and directives - track and capture key assumptions and market intelligence.
    • Track and drive demand planning KPI and business metric improvement.
    • Lead the monthly demand meetings for EP and OMSD Americas.
    • Leads special projects as needed to develop/improve processes, reduce costs and optimize processes.


    • Superb communications and relationship skills at all organization levels; primarily Sales, Commercial and Supply Chain
    • Proven statistical, analytical, Excel and Power Point skills
    • SAP / APO / BI experience or related systems
    • Detailed knowledge of S&OP Process (trainable)
    • Ability to deliver results and to drive change in complex environments
    • Excellent verbal and written English
    • Knowledge of the Acetyl Chain (AC) business-Chemical preferred
    • Strong communication skills: written and verbal

    Required Years of Experience

    • Experience in Supply Chain / Planning 3-5 years (Chemical industry experience preferred)

    Required Education

    • Bachelor in Supply Chain Management, engineering or related fields
