    • Establish inspection and predictive/ preventive maintenance requirements for fixed equipment.
    • Evaluate condition of fixed equipment to predict life and adjust maintenance intervals.
    • Perform inspections on rotating equipment, issues reports, and develops corrective action to improve reliability, safety, and performance.
    • Perform failure analysis on mechanical equipment, develops corrective actions and tracks results.
    • Responsible for the plant predictive/preventive maintenance requirements and corrective maintenance activities.
    • Develop maintenance procedures to improve equipment reliability/efficiency and minimizes repair cost.
    • Develop and promote new maintenance technologies.
    • Provide input and participates in the development of maintenance scope for mechanical equipment.


    • Knowledge of manufacturing plant processes and experience in Maintenance Engineering
    • Experience with preventive and predictive techniques to improve equipment surveillance program
    • Strong computer skills
    • Demonstrate ability to handle multiple priorities
    • Effective communication skills with ability to communicate internally and externally with all levels of the organization
    • Strongly motivated individual who works independently with minimal supervision
    • Ability to work in a team based environment

    • Knowledge of Maintenance Work Processes
    • Knowledge of industry equipment and process safety standards
    • Knowledge of lubrication principles
    • Knowledge of API 510, 570, 653
    • Working knowledge of PCMS, UltraPIPE, MHM and Bently System One

    Required Years of Experience

    • 3-10 years of experience as Maintenance or Reliability Engineer in a refinery or chemical plant

    Required Education

    • BS in Mechanical Engineering
