    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for performing ongoing duties related to reporting, analysis, communication and administration of Celanese defined contribution and defined benefit plans and programs.
    • Play key role in the design, development and administration/recordkeeping of employee retirement benefit plans including defined benefit and defined contribution retirement plans; maintain current Plan documents and coordinate distribution of all quarterly/annual required notices .
    • Responsible for ongoing administration of a comprehensive financial wellbeing program, including contributing to the development and implementation of the annual program calendar; coordination and communication of activities and educational programs.
    • Manage compliance with all retirement and pension plan audits; ensure timely filing of 5500s and extensions; complete annual proxy data requirements and monthly insider stock reports; ensure timely compliance and submission of PBGF/PBGC/Air filings; ensure legislative compliance by maintaining up-to-date knowledge and understanding of ERISA, IRS regulations, and other Federal, State, and Local related legislation.
    • Manage retirement plan provider relationships including administration and service level agreements; review payroll files, loan reports, error reports and other file data to ensure accuracy; correct errors and complete root cause analysis as required; ensure timely processing of SRP distribution payments.
    • In coordination with retirement plan administrator, confirm timely and accurate preparation and processing of annual retirement file and timely file submission to payroll/accounting for all US employees; ensure completion of 401(k) plan testing.
    • Process time-sensitive monthly pension funding for all pension plans in coordinator with trustee and treasury departments.
    • Comply with all assigned SOX controls.
    • Serve as a resource for employees, managers, HR representatives, and plan participants seeking information regarding a wide range of retirement benefit plans.
    • In conjunction with plan administrators, research participant records for internal and external information requests and inquiries, including verification of data for actuarial valuations, plan audits, and retiree life benefits; retrieve archived records as needed for issue resolution.
    • In partnership with external partners, evaluate and compare existing employee benefits with those of other employers by analyzing other plans, surveys, and other sources of information.
    • Assist with other projects as needed.

    • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with high level of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality; ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
    • Ability to find innovative solutions and focus on continuous improvement, and champion change.
    • Ability to drive tasks to completion to achieve key objectives and results.
    • Able to handle highly sensitive HR information in a confidential and professional manner.
    • Thorough knowledge and understanding of retirement plan laws and legal compliance.
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PPT), Outlook, SAP, multi-tasker.

    Required Years of Experience

    • 8-10 years experience in retirement/pension plan administration

    Required Education

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
