    Responsibilities:

    • Gatekeeper for new technology, trials and implementation regarding product, raw material, process and equipment.
    • Oversees unit MOC & MOOC process
    • Develop and implement IP plan for the unit technology
    • Scale up interface between production and outside resources
    • Works with Manufacturing Experts on resolving technical issues and ensuring core has tools and resources to flawlessly manufacture product
    • Drives improvements to production capacity, efficiency, process safety and environmental performance in accordance with the UTP and BTP plan
    • Develops and maintain plan to address gap from entitlement targets, most effective technology (MET), and best practices.
    • Shares best practices and leverages improvements between different sites or industries to continuously improve the technology and the production process.
    • Continuous engagement in the production facility to identify and remove barriers inhibiting flawless production
    • Works with Capital Project Owner on process discipline related project design and installations

    • Required Years of Experience:
      • 5 - 7 years experience in an engineering thermoplastics manufacturing environment, production/process engineering experience with twin-screw compounding preferred
    • Required Education:
      • Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Polymer/Materials Science or related disciplines
