    Responsibilities:

    This position will be responsible for improving and sustaining equipment reliability at the Narrows site, while supporting site & corporate goals/requirements for Process Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Cost.

    Define proactive maintenance strategies (preventive, predictive, failure finding) to improve plant reliability

    Perform root cause analysis on failures, develop corrective actions and track results.

    Recommend equipment changes to improve reliablity, providing justification & utilizing Management of Change process

    Assist troubleshooting of issues to support 24x7 operations.

    Support outage work.

    Summarize results and present them to Celanese management.

    Qualifications:

    B.S. Engineering or equivalent industrial experience
    Hands-on experience with improving instrumentation reliablity.   Intermediate capabilities with Microsoft Word and Excel.  
    Use of a Root Cause Analysis methodology.  Deep knowledge of process plant instrumentation.
    Experience with the implementation of proactive maintenance strategies
    Knowledge of PHA's and safety reviews, MOC, and Safety Instrumented Systems
    Capable of handling several projects and support activities simultaneously

    Hands-on experience with improving reliablity.  

    Intermediate capabilities with Microsoft Word and Excel.  

    Experience with the Reliability Centered Maintenance process.

    Use of a Root Cause Analysis methodology. 

    Experience with SAP, or other CMMS, with ability to mine data for reliability analysis.

    Candidate must have good technical writing and presentation skills.

    3-5 years of experience as a reliability engineer, or new college hire

    Must be rising senior work towards B.S. Engineering graduating in December 2019 or May 2020
