    • Provide technical expertise and oversight for site online process analyzers.
    • Create, review and approve specifications for new analyzer installations.
    • Troubleshoot analyzer issues and implement improvements to optimize analyzer run time and reliability.
    • Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting assistance to analyzer technicians.
    • Assist with commissioning and start-up of new analyzers.
    • Participate in Capital project planning, design and implementation.
    • Lead long term analyzer improvement initiatives.
    • Oversight for analyzer PM program.
    • Specify analyzer calibration standard composition.
    • Analyzer MOC focal point.
    • Work with turnaround team to specify unit outage analyzer job scopes.
    • Assess analyzer criticality to determine spare part requirements.


    • Advanced knowledge of sample system troubleshooting and design.
    • Background working with CEMS, IR, GC, TC, Mass Spec, BTU, Paramagnetic and Zirconium Oxide O2 analyzers.
    • Analyzer network and communication experience (ethernet, Modbus, OPC etc.).
    • Analyzer SIS experience.

    Required Years of Experience

    • Minimum 5 years of process analytical experience in Chemical Plant or Refinery.

    Required Education

    • B.S. degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
