    The Team Captain will lead the 24/7 Team to make in-spec product per production schedule while embracing the 4 manufacturing core principles:

    • Avoiding harm to people or environment
    • Providing always the right quality

    • Drives the culture of the four core principles
    • Developing people

    The Team Captain is the direct supervisor for the hourly operators (Process Experts). This person will:

    • Ensure accountability for work assignments
    • Acts as Gatekeeper for maintenance activities on shift
    • Conducts level C investigations for Safety and Quality incidents and communicates to management
    • Ensure all Safety and Quality procedures are adhered to
    • 10% - 15% overtime is required


      • Understands production schedule, production capabilities
      • Product knowledge
      • Understands the team members knowledge and skills
      • Identifies emerging issues
      • Motivates people
      • Intermediate capabilities with Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.
      • Experience navigating in SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) , PI Process Book and SAP
      • Ability to mine data for quality analysis
      • Ability to utilize statistical process control tools
      • Knowledge of Extrusion SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
      • Knowledge of Tow manufacturing
      • Experience with the implementation of proactive quality strategies
    • Required Years of Experience:
      • Two to three Years Manufacturing Environment
    • Required Education:
      • HS Diploma
