    This position will be responsible for all aspects of the Rotating Equipment Mechanical Integrity Program at the Narrows site, while supporting site & corporate goals/requirements for Process Safety, Environmental Compliance, Product Quality, and Cost.

    • Define proactive maintenance strategies to improve reliability of rotating equipment.
    • Perform root cause analysis on failures, develop corrective actions and track results
    • Champion programs for equipment changes to improve reliability, providing justification & utilizing Management of Change process
    • Assist troubleshooting of issues to support 24x7 operations
    • Support outage work
    • Supervise Rotating Equipment Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)


      • B.S. Engineering or equivalent industrial experience
      • Use of a Root Cause Analysis methodology
      • Deep knowledge of rotating equipment and vibration analysis
      • Knowledge of PHA's and safety reviews, MOC, and Safety Instrumented Systems
      • Capable of handling several projects and support activities simultaneously
      • Intermediate capabilities with Microsoft Office
      • Proven hands-on experience improving rotating equipment reliability through problem solving, overhauls, and design changes
      • Ability to integrate and have high influence within the organization. Self-starting and passionate about improvement
      • Ability to analyze equipment vibration & lubrication data and resolve issues
      • Knowledge of industry best practices with a strong track record of implementation improvements and getting results
      • Use of a Root Cause Analysis methodology
      • Experience in the ability to identify trends through data evaluation for reliability analysis. SAP experience a plus
      • Candidate must have good technical writing and presentation skills. The ability to understand a business perspective a plus
    • Required Years of Experience
      • 7+ years minimum of experience as a rotating equipment reliability engineer, ideally 10+ years
    • Required Education
      • B.S. Engineering or equivalent industrial experience
