    Responsibilities:

    Purpose and Summary of position:

     

    • Ship Point Management for Third Party Liquid Terminals
    • Marine Cargo Operations Planning, Execution and Review (Chemical tankers and barge)
    • Marine Trade Lane Management – Support Strategic sourcing in contract execution
    • Monthly and Annual Inventory reconciliation
    • SOX Compliance
    • Cost Center ownership and budgeting
    • Incident investigation, preventive, and corrective action
    • Invoice review and approval

    Qualifications:

    Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

     

    • Chemical Tanker and Barge Operations
    • Chemical Terminal Operations
    • Basic knowledge of overland transportation modes
    • Intermedieate Excel, Word, Power Point
    • Experience with ERP or data management system
    • Strong communication skills
    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills
    • Process improvement driven
    • Ability to Travel to/from Dallas/Houston area periodically
    • Required to be On call after hours and weekends as needed

     

    Desirable Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

     

    • Experience with SAP a plus
    • Six Sigma training a plus

     

    Required Years Experience:

     

    • 5 years’ experience in Marine/Terminal operations

     

    Required Education:

     

    • Bachelor’s Degree (Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field)
