    Provides technical/process control support to production units, environmental activities, and plant projects to improve unit stewardship, quality, and reliability.


    • Supports unit efforts on developing and implementing process optimization systems such as Advanced Process Control, Real Time Optimization, etc.
    • Primary contact for OT infrastructure and development support
    • Provides project management, training and change management for digitization projects and initiatives
    • Develops strategy and executes maintenance/upgrade plans for DCS/PCN hardware/software to ensure unit processes can be ran safely while implementing continuous improvement actions
    • Works with Manufacturing/Operations team on resolving technical issue
    • The position is offered for the Coastal Bend Area




    • 5+ years (with degree) or 10+ years (without degree) of directly related industrial experience including process controls
    • Demonstrated commitment to safety
    • Demonstrated organizational skills, an ability to manage multiple projects and tasks, and the ability to work as Self Directed Individual
    • Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills
    • Ability to Work with Other Groups such as Maintenance, Reliability, and Operations
    • General manufacturing experience
    • Working knowledge of root cause analysis concepts
    • Knowledge of Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) techniques
    • Knowledge of: instrumentation, control systems, DCS/PLC hardware, statistics, and process safety
    • Knowledge of APC, RTO, other process control optimization systems
    • Ability to train team on DCS operations, changes, optimization
    • Required Years of Experience

      • 5+ years with BS Engineering
      • 10+ years non-degreed
    • Required Education
      • BS Engineering or non-degreed depending on years of experience
