    Purpose and Summary of position:


    • Execute daily transactions for Raw Materials, MRO, Corporate Services to ensure reliable supply of goods and services
    • Execution of purchase orders in SAP, maintenance of purchasing information records, invoice discrepancy resolution, expediting and general purchasing activities
    • Operate in compliance with SOX, ISO/ISO, BCP, and Celanese Policies and Procedures
    • Capable to resolve internal and external issues related to supply and the Purchase to Pay (P2P) process
    • Able to learn and adapt to standard and efficient processes within P2P
    • Identify and execute on continuous improvement opportunities to continue to streamline functions
    • Work with Strategic Sourcing Managers/Leaders on relationship management and issue resolution needs with suppliers
    • Work within the team for the success of the objectives


    Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:


    • In-depth understanding of the P2P process
    • Strong computer skills –SAP, MS Office Suite
    • Strong communication and rapport building skills
    • Works well in a team
    • Problem solving/Analytical skills
    • Improvement driven
    • Results driven – setting priorities and juggling multiple tasks and assignments


    Desirable Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:


    • Spanish language skills preferred
    • Familiarity with SAP transactions  
    • Purchasing or buying experience
    • Detail oriented
    • Experienced in excel spreadsheets and excel formula


    Required Years Experience:


    • 2 to 4 years


    Required Education:


    • Bachelor’s Degree or 2 years of experience
