    Purpose and Summary of position:


    The Sr. Manager of Digital Services will manage and lead initiatives that utilize digital services to support and/or enable activities in customer relations, employee engagement and enablement, operations and data analytics.


    Key responsibilities include:


    • Identify and create next-level digital solutions that progress Celanese business strategy 3.0 using emerging technologies (Robotics Process Automation, Big Data, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning) while focusing on effectiveness, sustainability and ROI
    • Perform planning, system integration, verification and validation, evaluate alternatives including cost and risk of all initiatives to enable the identified digital solutions
    • Develop detailed project plans that include scope, resources, timeline, quality and risk assessments
    • Partner with IT leadership in infrastructure, security and application services to deliver the digital initiatives
    • Manage and provide direction for team members engaged in projects and delivery


    Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:


    • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
    • Business acumen combined with the ability to apply technology to solve business/function pain points or progress the Celanese business
    • Demonstrated experience in successful project or program management
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Team player with excellent written and verbal communications skills
    • Personable, professional and able to work with colleagues in multiple global regions


    Desirable Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:


    • Technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in one or more of the following: digital strategies, data science, supply chain, manufacturing
    • Management of web applications team with understanding of marketing, e-commerce, performance metrics, website strategy, and corporate communications
    • Management and sustainability of software platforms that provide data warehousing, data analysis, reporting and visualizations for core business functions


    Required Years Experience:


    • 7 - 10 years of relevant work experience in Information Technology or Digital-related fields


    Required Education:


    • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
