Celanese Corporation in Lebanon, Tennessee to be responsible for drive diversification (new accounts and new project generation) in targeted segments with translation to other accounts or adjacent markets. Specific job duties for this position include: (i) applying first-hand understanding of the Celanese and SOFTER Group’s materials and actively assisting the sales team in explaining technical properties to customers which allow customer discovery of their value, including elastomers, nylons, polyesters, olefins and acetals; (ii) Determine customer application requirements and make resin and grade suggestions based on knowledge of the mechanical, chemical and physical performance of potential material solutions. (iii) targeting, identifying and meeting with customers and potential customers to understand their needs and identify mutually beneficial opportunities to meet sales growth objectives; (iii) performing advanced structure stress analysis using state-of-the-art FEA, CFD, Mold Flow, and CAD/CAE tools; (iv) identifying and establishing targeted technical exchanges to articulate the Celanese Corporation value proposition for strategic accounts in key segments and translate for additional growth. (v) Drive material specification in applications, including government and non-government organization (NGO) testing specifications for end use applications, such as Underwriters Laboratory (UL), Factory Mutual (FM), Federal Aviation Authority (FAA), ISO and ASTM and ability to suggest suitable resins which meet these requirements. Must have (6) years of previous work experience in the position offered or related. 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week, must be willing to travel domestically 50%-75% of the time to customer sites, works from home within 25 mile radius of Lebanon, TN plant.
