Responsibilities:

Purpose and Summary of position:

  • Lead overall program strategy for Productivity in Engineered Materials in partnership with business leadership and balanced with strategic goals
  • Lead the formal process for generating a pipeline of Productivity projects that includes big, cross-functional initiatives
  • Drive the full lifecycle planning and management of multiple projects to ensure they are delivered on-time with the expected results.
  • Build consensus among cross functional teams and influence decision making within senior levels
  • Establishes and monitors value metrics to inform decisions that maximize returns across enterprise projects and programs
  • Lead cross functional team responsible for aligning strategic objectives and tactical demands of our business
  • Develops program/platform translation strategy; executes strategy collaboratively
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement
  • Accountable for achieving program metrics and the communication plans broadly across the business and functions

Qualifications:

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:  

  • Experience in business analysis that leads to major initiatives to improve business performance
  • Experience with multiple functions that interface with the business (Manufacturing, Procurment, Finance, Supply Chain, , etc.)
  • Superior knowledge of EM business lines and end-to-end processes that serve the business goals
  • Ability to address and solve difficult issues/engage appropriate stakeholders
  • Superior communication skills (listen and presenting)
  • Ability to strongly influence and guide the organization down a strategic path
  • Consultative program/project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Lead Change with courage, energy and the drive to finish - initiates with minimal direction, virtually self-directed

Desirable Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:  

  • Ability to drive improvements in the number and quality of pipeline projects and the success rate
  • Ability continuously improve project management tools and processes to enable the organization to achieve/exceed it's goals
  • Solid understanding of the business-line strategies

  • Ability to speak confidently in public settings
  • Negotiates situations effectively and provides well thought-out solutions

Required Years Experience:

  • 15+

Required Education:

  • BS or BA in Technical or Business Field;  MBA a Plus   Desire Lean/Six Sigma Certification
