Responsibilities:

Purpose and Summary of position:

  • Responsible for performing ongoing duties related to reporting, analysis, communication and administration of Celanese benefits plans and programs.
  • Assists in the administration and recordkeeping of various employee benefit plans including health, insurance, defined benefit, and defined contribution retirement plans
  • Responsible for the ongoing administration of a comprehensive wellness program, including contributing to the development and implementation of the annual program calendar; coordination and communication of activities, challenges, and educational programs
  • Serves as a resource for employees, managers, HR representatives, and plan participants seeking information regarding a wide range of benefit plans

Qualifications:

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:  

  • Some experience with employee benefit plan administration preferred.  Some knowledge of employee benefit laws and recent practice of compliance activities related to employee benefits.

Desirable Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:  

  • Experience with  US benefit plans required and some Canadian benefit plans preferred, including pension plans
  • Good research, analytical, and problem-solving skills; self-motivated and independent thinker that can prioritize and manager multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with high level of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality
  • Computer skills sufficient for professional work, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint with knowledge of SAP preferred

Required Years Experience:

  • 1-3 years professional experience

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
