Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Supervisor or his/her designee, the Operator internship program allows candidates an opportunity to shadow Operators in Chemical Operations, which provides them an overview of our different departments and a realistic preview of Operator work.

  • Ensure safety of personnel and maintenance of the equipment
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, laws, regulations, and company standards as they pertain to the following: Safety, Health, Environmental, ISO9002 and Housekeeping standards

Qualifications:

  • Graduate in May/June 2018 with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Process Technology
  • Have a current, cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must complete Celanese’s background and drug screenings and achieve satisfactory results
  • Must be at least 18-years-old
  • Must be willing and able to work three, 12-hour shifts per week
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of safe work permits
  • No experience required
