Purpose and Summary of position: 

  • Reports to Employee Relations/OneHR/HR Compliance Sr. Manager.
  • Serves as the team lead for the HR Service Center, first point of contact for all inbound inquiries received by telephone, electronically and in writing pertaining to employment policies and procedures, employee relations issues, payroll questions, organizational changes, HR systems, employee benefits, and performance management inquiries. 
  • Act as a key advisor and subject matter expert on HR policies, programs, practices, and serve as a resource/consultant in tactical and administrative practices across all HR areas.
  • Escalates more complex issues as appropriate, and maintains records of all interactions.   
  • Serves as the OneHR team lead, OneHR stakeholder representative with all HR initiatives, and partner with HRIT and Payroll leads to support the HR Operations initiatives. 
  • Support and create guidelines for the OneHR function in any change management initiatives.

  • Knowledge of SAP PHR and Success Factors HR modules.
  • HR Generalist experience, 3-5 years. 

Desirable Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Lead US and Canada OneHR team.
  • Answer OneHR calls and respond with assistance and/or triage.
  • Address all OneHR foot prints tickets, resolve and/or triage, and ensure OneHR team SLAs are being met. Audit, approve and triage all special requests.
  • Support and assist with HR Systems, Payroll Vendor and Tools.
  • Train and assist with manager and employee self service.
  • Serves as a OneHR subject matter expert for the HR organization.
  • Coordinates all administrative exception activity for HR Ops with HRIT and Payroll lead.
  • Coordinate with Payroll lead for all off cycle payroll requests. Manage terminated employee issues, collection letters, education investments, reimbursement agreements, corporate cards, etc.
  • Serves as the ticketing system and Navigator administrator for OneHR.
  • Ensures the team has documented current HR process and communication information.
  • Creates and advises on required OneHR templates for employees and managers, ie. verification of employment, unemployment, collection letters, etc. Support system upgrade/modification configurations to ensure it meets the reporting needs of current HR delivery model.
  • Assist in HR Ops project work and testing. Partner with HRIT and Payroll managers on any new system or trouble shooting changes.
  • Audit MDC reports for audits and possible red flag issues. Complete Exit checklist audits and controls. Audit all master data back end entries before payroll runs.
  • Ensure One.Celanese HR site is up to date and provides all current HR programs and policies.
  • Facilitate manger and employee training for Navigator in coordination with HRIT and Payroll leads.
  • Ensure New Hire Orientation facilitation meets the needs of the HR organization. Ensure the HR Ops onboarding process supports a smooth transition for all employees in coordination with payroll, HRIT and Talent Acquisition leads.
  • Ensure all documentation and communication follow the PII security guideline and new processes are documented and compliant.
