Provides engineering technical support in environmental activities and plant projects to improve unit operations, process safety and environmental performance.

Provide support to Plant Engineering activities, usually involving preparation of major Appropriation Requests or execution of detailed engineering of projects

Designs improvements to production capacity, efficiency, process safety and environmental performance, involving complex designs for major changes or new units with impact of up to 3 million dollars

Works with support teams to monitor unit operations, correct problems and assist in improvements, usually for special problems or projects

Provides process support to Environmental activities, usually limited to major designs

Participates in Process Safety Review

Communicates and documents process engineering activities in unit support, design, plant engineering, environmental and process safety support activities with little or no review required


Ability to Multitask and Handle Multiple Simultaneous Assignments

Ability to Work as Self Directed Individual

Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills

Ability to Work with Other Groups such as Construction and Operations

General Computer Skills such as Microsoft Office

Project management Skills

Understanding of 6-sigma methodology

Knowledge of process design, instrumentation, process control and statistics.

No experience Required

Education- Pursuing a Bachelors in Engineering
