Finance Intern (Undergraduate)

Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Finance Intern to join our Finance team. This internship provides undergraduate students with hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business decision support. The intern will work closely with Finance professionals and cross-functional teams to develop technical and business skills while contributing to real business projects.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes through data gathering, analysis, and reporting.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and support business recommendations.
  • Help prepare financial models, dashboards, and management reports.
  • Assist with variance analysis, comparing actual results to budget and forecast.
  • Support expense tracking, capital spending analysis, and project cost monitoring.
  • Maintain financial databases and reporting files to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Utilize Excel, Power BI, and other analytical tools to support decision-making.
  • Assist with ad hoc financial analyses and special projects.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives focused on reporting efficiency and data quality.
  • Explore opportunities to leverage digital tools, automation, and AI-enabled technologies within Finance processes.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams on business initiatives.
  • Help create presentations and visualizations that communicate key financial insights.
  • Perform assigned responsibilities under the supervision and guidance of experienced Finance professionals while developing technical and business acumen.

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Expected graduation date December 2027 or May 2028
  • GPA 2.8 or higher
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data analysis, and pivot tables.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in the U.S. with no restrictions (OPT H1b, TN visa currently not supported)
