Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Scheduler to support maintenance operations in a chemical plant environment. This role is responsible for developing weekly and outage maintenance schedules in Primavera P6, updating the schedule daily, and coordinating work priorities to support safe, reliable, and compliant plant operations.  Position will report to the site Maintenance Manager.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain the weekly maintenance schedule in P6
  • Update the schedule daily
  • Develop outage schedules for equipment and unit shutdowns
  • Partner with planners and coordinators to insure job plans are built to support scheduling process
  • Ensure compliance-related work is included
  • Monitor planned backlog, schedule compliance, P1/P2 percentages, and delays tracking
  • Lead weekly resource alignment of craft and forecast craft labor requirements
  • Work closely with maintenance, operations, and planning teams

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong SAP skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience as a maintenance planner or scheduler in a chemical plant
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental standards
  • Experience with Primavera P6

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of craft skills and maintenance work processes
  • Experience leading maintenance personnel
  • Excel expertise including pivot tables and macros
  • Ability to manage maintenance plans, work centers, variants, and backlog forecasting in SAP

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets, work experience, and qualifications.  The expected salary range for this Virginia position is between $93,200 and $123,600.
