Overview:

Celanese Mexico is seeking a highly motivated Senior Account Representative to join our Automotive Engineered Resins team.  This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth within a specified geographic territory focusing on new business development and maintaining existing customer relationships in the Automotive Industry leading direct responsibility of key OEM´s, Tier 1 and Tier 2.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of engineered resin materials and plastics, with excellent communication and negotiation skills. Responsibilities include:

  • Building a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction through effective sales presentations and on-site troubleshooting.
  • Managing all Salesforce data related to assigned accounts
  • Providing world-class service levels through frequent customer interactions.
  • Lead the development and implementation of segment/account growth plans, supporting the introduction and sale of new products to customers via translation opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering  or International Business.
  • Master 
  • 5 years of commercial experience in an account management role.
  • Master´s degree preferably.
  • Experience in a chemical or plastics company
  • Ability to reside within the geographic territory and travel 50-75% of the time
  • Plastics knowledge, preferably Celanese material offering or related
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and influence multiple levels of an organization (Internally and Externally)
  • Ability to understand technical properties of materials portfolio
  • Ability to organize/prioritize and work independently
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Business acumen & customer focus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish
  • Preferably to leave in Queretaro / San Luis Potosi
