Overview:

We are seeking a Compensation Manager to join our Global Total Rewards team. You will serve as a strategic compensation business partner working with HR and business leaders to ensure our compensation strategies align with business objectives and talent needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as compensation subject matter expert for your assigned client group, providing consultative guidance and solutions aligned to business objectives
  • Build and sustain strong collaborative relationships with HR partners and business leaders
  • Educate and guide HR Partners and business leaders on role alignment within the Celanese job architecture
  • Conduct market pricing and analyze competitive data to ensure appropriate job leveling within the salary structure
  • Lead annual competitive review, collaborating with HR Partners to make recommendation for market adjustments
  • Evaluate new jobs and reclassification requests including determining appropriate FLSA exemption status
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR Partners to develop competitive, equitable offers for new hires and promotions
  • Develop and enhance compensation policies, procedures and guidelines that ensure consistency and compliance
  • Contribute to strategic projects and broader Total Rewards initiatives that shape the future of our compensation programs and employee experience

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field
  • 5+ years of compensation experience; global and/or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with advanced Excel proficiency (complex formulas, modeling, data analysis)
  • Experience working with HRIS systems such as SAP and survey management tools such as BetterComp
  • Solid knowledge of compensation principles, job evaluation methodologies, and FLSA regulations
  • CCP certification or progress toward CCP preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
