The Senior Associate Accounts Receivable Billing will support the Americas Billing team for assigned businesses, providing support to a team of Customer Service Representatives, Logistics, Accounting, IT,Tax Team, Auditors and Team Leads.
Responsibilities:
Creating billing documents for different sales orgs.
Executing the invoices according the revenue recognition & Title Transfer rule.
Ensuring billing documents are generated correctly and timely posted to accounting.
Managing distribution of invoices and monitoring the success of the outputs within SAP and other providers, if used
Troubleshooting billing errors and coordinating corrective action with IT and CSR if needed.
Performing post billing activities (i.e billing cancellation)
Owning, executing and documenting Sarbanes Oxley control for billing
Managing closing activities to meet defined finance deadlines
Confirming all billing documents are processed in accordance to revenue recognition rules
Ensuring country billing regulations are met
Setup and maintenance of billing outputs.
Qualifications:
3-4 years' work-related experience.
Ability to think out of the box.
Sense of urgency.
Troubleshooting/problem solving skills.
Ability to build relationships.
Self Starter.
Ability to handle stressful situations.
Strong communication skills in spoken and written English/Spanish.
Positive attitude and aptitude to handle changes.
Ability to work effectively in an international environment.
Advanced time management skills and ability to self-manage incoming requests and demands based on deadlines and business/customer requirements.
Ability to work in an International Team Environment.
