Responsibilities:

Asset Leader (Maintenance Manager) needed by Celanese Corporation in Florence, KY to Responsible for all aspects of maintenance execution for the Engineered Materials Unit at the Kentucky site. Manage the entire maintenance work process from job notification through the completion of the work, and ensure that all work is completed in a safe and cost effective way that results in flawless production reliability. Ensure all maintenance is executed safely, according to policies and industry best practices. Actively participate as core team member in PHAs, and MOCs. Prioritize and champion maintenance work that supports great stewardship and safety notifications. Ensure maintenance activities support key product quality requirements of the Engineered Materials Unit. Responsible for the Engineered Materials maintenance budget and gatekeeper of maintenance spending. Forecast maintenance spending requirements and make appropriate accruals for the plant controller. Responsible for the maintenance schedule and integrate with the productions schedule for the day and week. Ensure emerging equipment reliability and maintenance issues are identified, prioritized, and addressed. Oversee the execution of the daily maintenance plan in coordination with the Daily Execution Leader. Coordinate with the Manufacturing Services team for any centralized maintenance crafts needed to meet the maintenance schedule. Address performance issues with the Core Maintenance Team and the Manufacturing Expert- Asset Optimizer. Responsible for the system ensuring proper maintenance handoff of repaired equipment back to the 24/7 team. Coordinate asset strategy repairs/replacement with Unit Leader and Capital Project Owner. Track long-lead time parts and develop plans or solutions to mitigate risks based on unit needs and performance. Coordinate turn-around including scope development, schedule development, planned downtime and return to service commitments. Optimize maintenance schedules to resolve conflicts with resources or priority changes. Approve maintenance strategies for equipment, both short and long term. Develop and mentor people according to key abilities and attributes. Actively engage with Unit Leader, Daily Execution Leaders, and Technology Leader to ensure that optimum unit outcomes are achieved. Utilize Access, Visio, Project and Smartsheet. Utilize AB, Siemens and Honeywell. Utilize SAP, Bentley, Sample Manager and Minitab.

Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Computer Engineering and 5 years of progressive, post- baccalaureate experience in the job offered or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation utilizing Access, Visio, Project and Smartsheet; utilizing AB, Siemens and Honeywell; and utilizing SAP, Bentley, Sample Manager and Minitab.
