The Maintenance Manager Role is a maintenance leadership role and will have approximately 14 direct reports. This position routinely backs up the Site Maintenance Leader.  The role is located at the Washington Works Site.

Responsibilities:

  • Role will be a mix of office and field time.  Felt leadership presence on the floor will be required from this role.  
  • Responsible for the all the Safety, Health and Environmental aspects of the maintenance team.
  • Responsible for conformance to Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements. Lead and participate in PSM activities and audits.
  • Responsible for implementing and adhering to maintenance scheduling processes including PM Compliance and Reactive vs. Proactive work. 
  • Responsible for adherence and implementing industry best practices for Maintenance.
  • Responsible for standardizing and improving maintenance kitting and storage areas.  
  • Lead and facilitate SQRE meetings for team.
  • Lead and participate in improvement and 5S projects.
  • Lead and investigate Maintenance/Reliability Incidents or Events (Conduct Problem Solving Sessions – Root Cause Failure Analysis)
  • Responsible for creating the appropriate work environment and executing Human Resource policies.
  • Responsible to work closely with operations to execute maintenance work.
  • Lead improvement and Capital projects as needed.
  • Work with technical and operations as needed to trouble shoot area issues or coordinate incident investigations and problem-solving sessions (safety, quality, reliability, etc.).
  • Review and approve maintenance procedures, directions, etc.
  • Teamwork / collaboration, embracing change and engagement, results oriented.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) OR experience in lieu of degree is also acceptable.
  • At least 5 years' experience in manufacturing environment
  • Experience in people leadership/managing teams preferred.
  • Experience in applying reliability philosophies and continuous improvement.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Applications, SAPPM)
  • Ability to work well with others using influence
  • Able to organize, plan, and prioritize multiple tasks and changing priorities.
