Senior Compensation Analyst

Overview:

As a member of the Global Total Rewards team, the Senior Compensation Analyst will play a vital role in supporting the design, development and administration of Celanese Compensation programs.  You will work closely with HR partners to identify and address compensation issues and ensure that our compensation programs are competitive, fair, and aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with HR Partners to support, respond, and provide guidance on compensation-related issues
  • Market price jobs and analyze data to appropriately level jobs within Celanese’s salary structure
  • Be responsible for survey data management including survey participation and survey upload into BetterComp market data management tool
  • Provide and interpret compensation data analysis for market competitive assessments and cost estimates
  • Provide analysis to support special projects and ad hoc requests as needed
  • Analyze new jobs and reclassification requests to appropriately determine FLSA exemption status
  • Create and maintain standard compensation reports, ad hoc reports, and queries
  • Assist with identifying opportunities to improve processes and document procedures
  • Assist with the annual merit and incentive cycles

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
  • 3-5 years Compensation experience required, experience working with international compensation preferred
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or coursework towards CCP preferred
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, PowerPoint, and Advanced Excel skills
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and objectivity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and provide excellent customer service
  • Detail-oriented with ability to work in fast-paced environment
