The Process Technology Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing manufacturing and production processes through the implementation of new technologies, driving innovation, and ensuring efficiency. This role involves leading process improvement initiatives, managing technology integrations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance overall production capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages and develops the Tow Unit Technical Team including Process Engineers, Systems Engineers and Technicians.
- Provides the technology resources, knowledge and plans to pursue and achieve entitlement operations
- Sets Tow Unit technical priorities and objectives to support business objectives
- Owns the Process Trial and Tow Item Request processes for the unit
- Maintain the capital budget for the unit, ensuring capital projects meet the needs of the unit and are executed on time and budget
- Owns the project request process and ensures project scopes are clear and complete and have sufficient business justification to be executed by the project team
- Owns the Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) process for the unit, ensuring the PHA’s are completed on schedule against the calendar, and there no past due actions from previous analyses
- Owns the unit productivity plan, ensuring new projects are entered, updated and approved in the database to meet the unit’s productivity improvement goals for the year
- Owns and maintains the Unit technology Plan, ensures the plan is updated and aligns with the Business Technology Plan
- Presents technical results to unit team and executive leadership
- Is willing to take on any work in support of the Tow Team’s success
- Holds high standards and actively engages with direct reports, Unit Leader, Asset Leader and Daily Execution Leader to ensure that optimum unit outcomes are achieve
