Responsibilities:


·         Install, Calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and functionally check instruments, control systems, final control elements, control valves, switches, levels, temperatures and flows

·         Install, test, troubleshoot and repair motor controls, PLC’s and relays

·         Use test equipment, multimeters, loop calibrators, communicators, computers and hand tools

·         Understanding of and ability to troubleshoot ladder logic

·         Reads, interprets electrical drawings and P&ID’s

·         Maintains drawings to reflect any modifications

·         Works directly with vendors, operations, and reliability group to resolve problems

·         Participate in site-wide Process Safety and Risk Reduction

·         Create and update accurate reports using SAP

·         Complete all written and electronic records, calibration sheets, work orders and document the work in progress as it is completed

 

Qualifications:

·         Must have basic computer skills including MS office applications, Excel, Word and Outlook

·         High School diploma/GED

·         Detail oriented with problem solving skills, and able to organize and prioritize work assignments

·         Knowledge of general and specific maintenance disciplines usually gained through a technical associate degree

·         Able to work overtime, weekends and have scheduled on call duties

·         Minimum 3 years of maintenance instrument, analyzer and/or electrical experience – preferred

·         NCCER- Instrumentation certification - preferred
