Responsibilities:

Please note, we are hiring for this role in Narrows VA. 

 

  • Use basic chemical engineering skills to provide solutions for assigned projects 
  • Apply collegiate curriculum and current knowledge/practices to solve specific technical problems and standard design problems
  • Execute challenging projects for assigned operation unit(s) to improve design, operability, and unit performance.
  • Collaborate with process engineers, operators, and other plant personnel to address challenging real-world problems to meet unit production goals
  • Explore the multiple career paths for Chemical Engineering (process engineering, production engineering, process controls)
  • Utilize real world applications and programs to identify and solve deficiencies
  • Additional responsibilities will vary depending on the specific role

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering  
  • Anticipated graduation date December 2025 or May 2026
  • GPA 2.8 or higher
  • Demonstrated understanding of engineering mathematics
  • Microsoft suite proficiency: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Attention to detail
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude and learning agility
  • Proven success working in a team environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety
  • Ability to work in the U.S. with no restrictions (OPT H1b, TN visa currently not supported)
