Global Key Account Manager

Responsibilities:

This is an opportunity to join our team as our Electrical and Electronics (E&E) Global Key Account Manager Role (GKAM). You will be part of the Celanese Engineered Materials US/Canada Sales Team and report to the Americas E&E commercial leader. The E&E GKAM will be responsible for delivering revenue and volume growth within a specified suite of Key Accounts. You will service a customer base of OEM and Injection molders who process engineered resin materials, primarily within the electrical & electronic and Clean Energy end markets. Performance measurements will be sales, pipeline build and closes.

 

This is a remote role, with travel up to 50% 

 

  • Accountable for delivering revenue and volume growth for the Key Accounts commensurate with the Annual Operating budgets
  • Developing a growth strategy for the Key Accounts, focusing on new business development, while maintaining and growing wallet share of existing business
  • Coordination and coaching of regional account managers and application developers to execute on global key account strategy
  • Building a robust Pipeline of opportunities to sustain the E&E’s growth objectives
  • Maintains all SFDC data related to assigned accounts; account plans, relationship maps, call reports, sample requests, and pipeline opportunity management.
  • Understands and capable of learning the performance and value proposition of Celanese’s products/solutions, and actively assists the E&E team in capturing optimal value
  • Primary point of contact for all assigned accounts, expected to develop deep relationships and ensuring world class service levels with frequent in person customer interfaces
  • Lead development, communication and implementation of segment/account growth plans
  • Support introduction and sale of new products to customers via translation opportunities
  • Diversify customer base with by identifying new, potential key accounts.  Develop targeted account plans and growth strategies specific to new key accounts.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Engineering, Science or Business degree - advanced degree preferred
  • 8-10+ years of Commercial Experience in an Account Management role required
  • Account Management / Application Development experience at a chemical or plastic’s company preferred
