Responsibilities:

Learning Facilitator: Ensures the 24/7 Team are effectively using unit procedures, best practices are implemented, incident learnings are applied to prevent drift or (re)occurrence. The learning facilitator must be able to capture knowledge of the process, product and equipment to effectively develop and execute training programs. Responsible to coordinate the training of unit’s personnel to have skill and knowledge to perform their role with maximum effectiveness.

 

 Routine Activities

 

  • Field evaluation of procedure usage as defined by SQRE plan
  • Continuously monitors an tests the application of technical knowledge in field and process activities
  • Identify potential training gaps and develop action plans to correct deviations
  • Execute operational training
  • Responsible for implementation and development technical training for knowledge transfer and personal development
  • Responsible for keeping the SOP, EOP and CONOPS material updated
  • Maintain training record documentation in accordance with retention policies
  • Tracking of employee training and solicitation of additional training needs
  • Hand off to manufacturing expert / Stewardship leader for procedures  needing additional technical / safety review
  • Responsible for regulatory training compliance

 

AD-HOC Activities (as needed)

 

  • Core team member for MOC’s
  • Responsible of the team unit knowledge certification and progression
  • Leader of the new hire, transfers, or interns through the on-boarding unit process and progression development stages
  • Builds strategy around training and knowledge support
  • Training of unit personnel for special emerging issues
  • Escalates issues with training that impede the unit personnel to be trained and/or fulfill their roles to the Daily Execution Leader
  • Actively participates in unit initiatives (5s, Special Projects, Improvement ideas, etc.)   

Qualifications:

Key Abilities and Qualifications

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years external experience in a similar role (or 1 year of Celanese manufacturing experience for internal candidates)
  • Understands technology of process, product and equipment
  • Training KPI’s (% Progression Vs Target)
  • Skilled in people development and teaching
  • Ability to multi-task
