Responsibilities:

This role is specifically responsible for executing the following across Celanese:

  • Develop and deliver high impact training both in-person and virtually
  • Develop training materials and courseware such as course outlines, instructor guides, quick reference materials, job aids, learning paths and exercises
  • Assist in creating training and job aids along with supporting the planning and delivery of training rollouts, managing the enrollment and evaluation process, performing needs assessments, developing and delivering training
  • Manage internal development site
  • Manage vendor licensing/administration
  • Support cultural initiatives as needed
  • Partner with others on the Talent Management team to create and implement additional organization initiatives

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in instructional design and developing learning content, preferably in a global setting
  • Masters degree in I/O Psychology or related field preferred
  • Experience operating in a global environment preferred
  • Functional knowledge of latest content development tools including Captivate and Camtasia. Knowledge of Learning Management Systems, SAP Success Factors experience preferred
  • Understand training and development principles and adult learning theory
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills, be able to perform in a team environment, collaborate with others, handle multiple projects, be flexible with change, and meet deadlines
  • Experience operating in a global environment preferred
  • Knowledge and/or experience in instructional design principles
  • Organized with strong time management and prioritization skills
  • High sense of accountability
  • Strong communication skills
  • Process oriented with a focus on execution
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity successfully
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Smartsheet, Microsoft Forms, SharePoint a plus
