Responsibilities:

Utilize a strong strategic mindset, business and financial analysis, team collaboration, and advanced analytics capabilities to create value for the Celanese Acetyls business, including Acetic Acid & Derivatives, Vinyl Acetate, Emulsion Polymers, Redispersible Powders and Olefin &Methanol Specialty Derivative products.

Activities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Establish analytical frameworks, conduct complex business analyses, and synthesize into business insights
  • Utilize state-of-the-art business analytics, machine learning, and digitization methods to drive next evolution of business insights and decision making
  • Understand value chain and enhance Acetyls profitability through optimal global decision making
  • Work effectively with global cross-functional team to understand stakeholder interests and build consensus towards successful outcomes
  • Create effective presentations for both internal and external audiences
  • Understand and utilize external industry and market research
  • Develop and leverage competitive intelligence and analysis
  • Create financial models and forecasts for strategic projects

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 plus years of corporate strategy, industrials consulting, business analytics, financial planning & analysis and/or relevant industry experience

Bachelor’s in Business or related field

Prior experience preferred with advanced analytics and visualization methods (e.g. Alteryx, Tableau, Python, Power BI, etc.)
